For filming Research

currently i am looking at the horror genre:
so far i have looked at paranormal activity 2 which is filmed on a low budget by amerture actors with a handheld camera so that it looks realistic.
I am also looking at the human centepide which is a disturbed horror focusing on adaptation of the human species.
It is a higher budget film done by proffesionals

FILMING

The filming for a piece was actually quite succesful, we mangaged to film all the sections we wanted to it's just we had alot of footage which is now causing a problem in the editing.

The main reason it is diffucuilt is because we have way more footag then is really nessercary and we have seen that a  majority of it is unuseable because people are talking over it or the angling is off etc.
Also in total time length wer have over 10 minutes of filming. JOY.

The software is also relatively annoying becuase being network computers they are already relatively slow. But having a adobe program on them makes them even slower, there is also highly irritating occurance when using adobe elements which makes it lag and so when you are trying to edit the footage it jumps making it nearly impossible to see what you have actually done.

When you do make the desired effect it is nice but still t here is the thing with the timing being just slightly off which is very anooying to edit as it is like a split second or so that is wrong.
